Hope you have survived eating all that chocolate at Easter ;-)
Now….lets get out and about at my first Festival this year……………………….
Hello to …………… The English Festival…….and its FREE

simplyTrue will be there with lots of stalls from local Farmers Markets.
You will be able to get bread, cakes, beers and ciders, brownies, craft items, plants, meat and veg and much more :-)

The English Festival is held in Riverside Country Park Rainham.
It will run on Saturday 22nd April and the times are 11-5
The park will be transformed into three zones, Countryside, Village and Iconic England.
You will find a land train, a bandstand with music all day, stalls, animals, Mods on Scooters and, of course, St George and the dragon !!!!
Lots of areas to stay, sit, bring a picnic, bring all the family……its FREE entry :-D

Parking
Parking on site is £3 and theres limited spaces
Park and Ride from Dockside is £1 for over 16′s
Park and Walk from Bloors Wharf is £2
You can get the bus, it stops outside the park and its then a short walk in :-)

Just a quick post.
You know there are always colours that are asked for that are not the easiest ones to track down…….don’t be silly I hear you say…..but it definitely is true with the colour navy.
People who sell beads all have there own version of navy and when it is ordered its not ‘my’ version of navy. Its invariably lighter than what i think navy should be.
So….finding ‘my’ navy takes time…………BUT I do seem to have had some success :-)
If you are craving a navy necklace or bracelet then pop along to the stall and take alook.
Dont hang around though as it usually flies off the table with all those spring/summer wedding outfits being planned.

I shall be at usual Farmers Markets and also a few local events including The English Festival and Rochester Sweeps so check my calender to find out where I will be in the next month or so.

As well as lots and lots of beads simplyTrues life now consists of many walks in all types of weather with Dexter Hound.
We are very lucky to have a super area of grass, hills and woods nearby.
Life before dog was sitting at a table threading beads mostly but now my couch potato self is propelled out and about every day walking the handsome Dexter !!
Example yesterday my phone screamed at me 13253 steps taken :-| and my feet know it :-)

Anyway what I was gonna say was that we have seen lots of evidence of Spring springing ……. buds, daffodils, butterflies, nest collecting birds, bees and all the tres and bushes slowly becoming green….. super stuff

Along with Spring comes Mothers Day and Easter………….chocolate and flowers I hear you shout ! ……. But, remember, beautiful beaded jewellery has no calories and lasts longer than flowers…….Oh Yes Oh Yes !!!!!

Come and find me at a Farmers Market soon to take alook at the, always changing, display of necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
Treat your someone special for Mothers Day or Easter……………Hey ! Treat them for both :-D

Yes yes yes……I know……what have you been doing simplyTrue………….

Hello 2017 :-)
Its now Feburary and I can only say ….. what happened to January ???????

simplyTrue takes a break in January and part of Febuary.
Time for paperwork usually but this year it was time to adopt our new addition to the family

Dexter is an ex racer and he has taken up this years ‘paperwork’ time :-)
You might see him at some of the markets after he has settled in.

Now we are into the ‘ber’ months the nights draw in and the frost starts to settle overnight.
Thoughts start to turn to the festive time ahead…..

My work table is starting to look very laden with beads, charms, cord, fittings and lots of sparkly things :-)

On their way to you will be a new array of Wine Charms.
Six in a set and in many different themes.
They will have their own little organza bag to keep them safe and will be on offer at £4.99 making a super Christmas gift or Secret Santa
There are only so many of these I can make so be sure to come and see me at any of my forthcoming events and look for the new display :-)

Also my work table is heavy with semi precious beads to make lots of new bracelets and necklace. Each semi precious item has its own meaning card.

As always I have hundreds of Lucky Dip to make for all the coming events. Priced at £1 it means there is always something the children can afford with their pocket money :-)
